Artists-in-Residence

We offer customised residencies and comprehensive working facilities for our artists to develop and produce their artworks.

How to Apply:

Our arts residencies are open to visual artists and arts collectives.

Writers and researchers from the arts, culture, and heritage spectrum may also apply.

We only respond to applicants who have completed the submission in full.

Kindly upload a single PDF (max. 15 MB) of your detailed biodata, portfolio and a recent photograph and email to temenggongartists@gmail.com

*Terms & Conditions:
  • We will only respond to applicants who are successful. Please do not email us for a response.
  • The residency period is up to three months, with a post-residency exhibition to be organised and curated by Temenggong.
  • The residency period may include more than one artist (in residence) with the possibility of collaboration.
  • Foreign artists are responsible for all their travel documents, including visas, for entry into Singapore. Temenggong will assist in providing relevant documents to facilitate any customs requirements.
  •  We strive to offer various forms of support to artists based on the nature of their work. T&C apply.

(We will take some time for us to review your applications, and based on a first-come-first-served basis. We will not entertain emails that do not provide any portfolios or other irrelevant queries to the residency. We do not offer solely accommodation. Other Terms & Conditions apply. Thank you.)
