Singapore Heritage Festival 2019

The Nanyang Tea Challenge Semi-Finals 2019 event was one of the programmes under the Singapore Heritage Festival 2019. Solely organized by Pek Sin Choon and co-supported by Temenggong Artists-In-Residence, this community event was part of Temenggong’s community outreach event. The event had welcomed anyone to register as participants, mix-and-match their tea leaves selection, and they have to create a final tea presentation on the spot. Set at Bedok Town Square, this event saw more than 200 audiences who sat throughout and enjoyed the challenge. Some yummy Chinese-Teochew cakes, co-sponsored by Thye Moh Chan, were served to the hungry audience during the event.
